Fort Stanton Cave Study Project Privacy Policy

The Fort Stanton Cave Study Project is a long-term and ongoing project operating under a Volunteer Services Agreement with the BLM. This agreement includes sharing our data with the BLM and providing them timely and detail reports on our activities. However, these reports often contain personal information such as names and photographs and are not shared with the general public. The Private section of this web site which may contain some of this information is available to our team members. In the event of an accident or even on a practice rescue we do not disclose names or medical condition of participants following standard HIPAA policies.

The project sponsors three 9-day expeditions yearly. The FSCSP policy is to be fully open to all individuals interested in furthering the goals of the project. We do not usually provide detail reports to the general caving community without permission from our BLM partners.
